The Heliconia Bench

Woodlands Hospital collaborated with NUS School of Design and Environment (NUS-SDE) to develop the "Heliconia Bench", a user-centric furniture design inspired by nature. Selected through a design competition and refined for safety, durability and functionality.

The furniture enhances communal spaces while supporting comfort, social interaction and well-being. This initiative reflects Woodlands Health's commitment to creating meaningful, healing and people-centred environments through thoughtful spatial design.
